Taking on a small number of stores

iFloor, the operating system for flooring stores

One system from the first quote to the last payment: server-priced labour sheets, signatures on a phone, install scheduling, an installer portal and a customer portal with no login. Built inside a working flooring store in Richmond, BC.

Built on a real shop floor

iFloor started as the software for a flooring store in Richmond, BC, built from scratch to fix the problems that store had every day: quotes in spreadsheets, measurements on paper, installers phoning to ask where to go, customers phoning to ask when, and invoices that did not match what was signed.

It has run that store's daily operations since June 2026. Each store gets its own system and its own database, hosted in Canada. We are taking on a small number of retailers now.

The labour sheet

One document from measurement to payment

The labour sheet is the heart of iFloor. It carries labour and materials side by side, is priced on the server from your rate card, keeps every version, and moves from draft to signed to booked to installed to paid without anyone retyping it.

  • Priced on the server from your rate card, so a total can never disagree with its lines
  • Every version kept and stamped with the rates it used, so old sheets never change
  • Signed by the customer on their phone with a drawn signature, name and time recorded
  • Sign and book in one step: the customer picks the install date as they approve
  • A price increase after approval sends the sheet back for a new signature
  • A branded PDF for the customer and a full paper trail for the store

What it does

Everything in iFloor

Selling

Every customer, project and quote in one place instead of a spreadsheet, a phone and an inbox.

  • One record per customer with every call, text and email
  • Projects that group the kitchen and the stairs at one address
  • Material quotes with GST, PST and exemptions, a branded PDF and a note when they are opened
  • Customers accept quotes in their portal by typing their name
  • A product catalogue with cost and margin, and a waste calculator

Buying

What was ordered, from whom, and when it lands.

  • An order book with supplier, PO and ETA on every line
  • Purchase orders drafted per supplier and stamped sent
  • A supplier who has not confirmed within hours gets flagged the same day
  • Supplier records with locations and hours

Installing

Who is where this week, and the real state of every job without a phone call.

  • A scheduling calendar with a row per installer and drag to reassign
  • Installers block their own days off, and clashes are flagged
  • An install-day checklist with completion photos and an On my way text to the customer
  • Marking a job complete creates the invoice and tells the customer
  • A workmanship warranty certificate in the customer's portal

Three portals

Staff, installers and customers each see exactly their part.

  • Staff work in one app with a ranked queue of what needs someone today
  • Installers sign in to their own portal: jobs, calendar, documents and earnings, never your margins
  • Customers open one private link, no account: status, next step, signing, booking, photos, documents and chat
  • A rating on completion, with a Google review button for happy customers

Getting paid

The invoice matches what was signed, and nobody builds a month-end spreadsheet.

  • Invoices built from the signed labour sheet with deposits applied
  • A payment ledger for cheque, cash and e-Transfer, with one balance everywhere
  • Sales commissions calculated on finalize
  • Installer invoices and pay reconciled against the job
  • Reports for GST remittance, invoice aging and revenue by installer

Calls, texts and reminders

Conversations belong to the store, and the chasing happens on time.

  • Two-way texting on the store's number, threaded per customer
  • A browser phone with call routing, recordings and voicemail transcripts
  • Email with open tracking
  • Reminders before installs, for unsigned sheets, expiring quotes and unpaid invoices
  • A quote follow-up cadence and tasks created by the system

The AI inside

AI that reads, summarises and drafts, and never messages a customer

iFloor uses Claude from Anthropic and speech recognition from Deepgram. It was written as a rule from the start: the AI never sends anything to a customer. It prepares, and a person decides.

Never messages a customer

The AI drafts and a person reads and presses send, every time.

Fails safely

If an AI step fails, the previous value stays. Nothing is overwritten with a blank.

Your rules, approved by you

The store's own knowledge base shapes every draft, and each rule starts as a proposal the owner approves.

Business card scan

A photo of a card or signature becomes a new customer in seconds, not minutes.

Order screenshot scan

Order lines read from a screenshot instead of retyped.

Call summaries and tasks

Every recorded call summarised, with action items turned into tasks.

Coaching and deal signals

Tips for the salesperson after a call, plus booking intent and price objections flagged.

Follow-up drafts

A ready text or email after each call, waiting for a person to send it.

Customer profiles

A running summary of each customer and the next best action.

Each store on its own

  • Every store runs on its own system and its own database
  • Your database is hosted in Canada. The AI, phone and email services we connect process some data outside Canada
  • Every signature records the name, the time and the browser that signed

iFloor questions

Questions we hear

How is iFloor different from ifloor.app?

They are the same product. ifloor.app is iFloor's own site with the full tour and demo booking. Nametech built iFloor and runs it.

Can my store start now?

We are taking on a small number of retailers. Book a demo on ifloor.app, or join the list here and we will contact you.

How is it priced?

Per store, not per seat, in Starter, Pro and Elite plans. Pricing will be announced soon.

Do customers need an account?

No. Customers open one private link. Installers sign in to their own portal, so they only ever see their own jobs.

Can customers pay online?

Not yet. Staff record deposits and payments, and the customer sees the balance in their portal.

Does the AI talk to my customers?

Never on its own. It reads, summarises and drafts, and a person sends every message.
