Floor Warehouse

Floor Warehouse

Project Overview

Floor Warehouse is a flooring distributor based in Burnaby, British Columbia. It supplies vinyl plank, laminate and flooring accessories through authorized dealers, for residential and commercial projects, in named collections such as Korea, Jewelry and Oak.

Project Summary

We built Floor Warehouse's online store on Webflow, with Webflow's own ecommerce running the catalogue, so buyers can browse the range by flooring type or by collection and compare the specs of each floor. Checkout runs through Stripe for secure payments. The store is optimized for fast loading and smooth navigation, with a user-friendly design that keeps the focus on the products. Beyond the build, our work for Floor Warehouse covered SEO, social media marketing and ads management to bring buyers to the store.

About Floor Warehouse

Floor Warehouse is a flooring distributor with a warehouse in Burnaby, BC. It supplies vinyl plank, laminate and flooring accessories for homeowners and businesses across Canada.

It sells through authorized dealer showrooms rather than directly to the public. Dealers can pick up orders from the Burnaby warehouse or have them shipped across BC and Canada.

What they needed

A distributor that sells through dealers has two audiences on one site. Homeowners want to compare floors before visiting a showroom, and dealers want to know what they could stock and how to open an account.

Floor Warehouse names its floors instead of numbering them, grouped into collections such as Korea, Jewelry and Oak. The site had to keep that naming while letting a buyer sort by floor type.

What we built, and why

We built the site on Webflow and run the catalogue, cart and checkout on Webflow's own ecommerce, so products, pages and orders are managed from one dashboard.

The Browse menu splits the range two ways. One column lists the eight collections, from Canada to Island. The other lists the four floor types: Laminate, WPC Click Vinyl Plank, Glue Down Vinyl Plank and Click Vinyl Plank. A buyer with a look in mind starts from a collection; one who knows the install method starts from the type.

Each product page lists the specs a buyer compares: water rating, wear layer, thickness, board size and square feet per box. Floors such as White Oak and Gold also note an attached pad and a Strata rating. Prices are in Canadian dollars and marked MSRP.

Checkout takes the shipping address and card on one page, with payment through Stripe.

How it works for their customers

The home page opens on four large panels for the Jewelry, Korea, Forest and Mountain collections, each linking to its collection page. Below them, Explore our Collections has a tab for each collection listing its floors and prices.

The All Products page puts thirteen filter buttons down the left side: All, the four floor types and the eight collections. The cart opens as a panel on the right, so a buyer keeps browsing while it fills.

Dealers apply for an account on the Contact page, which asks for their name, company, phone, email and a note about the business. A home page form adds anyone to the new inventory list.

Where it stands today

The store is live at floorwarehouse.ca, and its All Products page carries 55 product listings: 22 Click Vinyl Plank, 14 WPC Click Vinyl Plank, 14 Laminate and 5 Glue Down Vinyl Plank.

By collection, Sea is the largest with 12 floors. Island and Jewelry have 8 each, Oak and Canada 6 each, and Forest, Mountain and Korea 5 each. Every collection and every floor type also has its own page, twelve in all, so a dealer can send a customer straight to one range.

Each product page ends with a More popular products row that leads back into the range. The footer links the store's Returns & Exchanges, Shipping Information, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages, and the blog holds six flooring guides filed under Tips, Trending and Maintenance, four of them featured on the home page.
