Project Overview
ShopBerbeR is a Canadian online marketplace serving shoppers across Canada and the United States. It sells fashion, clothing and shoes, electronics, furniture, kitchen appliances, beauty and personal care, and jewellery and watches, alongside Berber and Amazigh cultural products. The marketplace is built on a simple promise: make online shopping easy, trustworthy and enjoyable, and let independent sellers open their own storefronts with zero listing fees and transparent payouts.
Project Summary
We built the ShopBerbeR marketplace on WordPress with WooCommerce, using the Wolmart theme and Elementor for a fast, conversion-focused shopping experience. At its core is a full multi-vendor system: sellers register themselves, get their own storefront, and manage products, orders and payouts from a store manager dashboard. A catalogue this broad depends on shoppers finding things, so it is organized into browsable departments with category merchandising, search with category filters, and product variants for size and colour. Shoppers get secure encrypted checkout, real-time order tracking, AI-generated review summaries on product pages, star ratings and reviews, wishlist and compare tools, a blog, and Progressive Web App (PWA) support for an app-like experience on phones.
