Quoting and estimate tools for BC contractors and service businesses

A painting quote with example data: three options with one chosen, measured lines, GST with no PST on labour and a deposit on acceptance, beside a room measured on a phone into the paint it needs

A quote is where many small businesses lose time and margin: prices retyped from a spreadsheet, tax worked out by hand, and a PDF that disappears into an inbox. We build quote and estimate tools around your own price list for businesses in Surrey, across the Lower Mainland and elsewhere in Canada, from a calculator on your website to the quote builder your team uses every day.

We built two and run them daily. In NameCRM our own quotes offer up to four options with add-ons, are accepted online and raise the deposit invoice on acceptance, and we see which sections a client read. In iFloor a flooring store's labour is priced on the server from the owner's rate card, GST and PST are applied separately, measurements taken on a phone flow straight into the price, and an old estimate never reprices when a rate changes.

Every tool starts from how you price today: by the hour, by the square foot, by the package or by the option. The free assessment looks at that first, and the scope and estimate for the tool itself come in writing before any work begins.

What we have built

Quoting and estimating tools we have built and run

Every line here is live in NameCRM, where our own quotes are written, accepted and invoiced, or in iFloor, where a Richmond flooring store prices, measures and signs every job. Each is taken from the product itself.

  • NameCRM

    4options per quote

Up to four options on one quote

A quote can offer up to four options, each priced on the server with tax, deposit and an optional monthly fee, and the option the client picks becomes the price everywhere.

    See NameCRM
  • NameCRM

    Add-ons and a question box

Clients tick optional add-ons on the quote page and ask a question in a box that reaches you, on any phone.

  • NameCRM

    Accepted online, deposit invoiced

A client accepts by typing their name, with the time and IP recorded, and acceptance raises the deposit invoice, drafts the balance and tells you.

  • NameCRM

    Which sections they read

NameCRM shows which sections of a quote the client read and for how long, so you know whether they reached the price or the terms before you call.

  • NameCRM

    Fixed packages in Estimate Studio

Fixed-price packages are built from line items that describe the scope, with a discount as a target price, an amount or a percent, tax on top or included, and installment plans.

  • NameCRM

One calculation from quote to invoice

One money calculation feeds the estimate, the quote, the letter, the invoice and the PDF, so the price a client agreed never appears differently anywhere else.

Labour priced from your rate card

Every labour sheet is recalculated on the server from the owner's rate card with minimum charges per section; only staff can override a rate, and numbers typed in a browser are never trusted.

    See iFloor
  • iFloor

GST and PST the BC way

Quotes apply GST and PST separately, honour a customer's PST exemption, and tax shipping for GST only because it is a service.

  • iFloor

Measured on a phone, priced on the spot

The installer measures each area by length and width on a phone, marks install or removal, and the numbers feed straight into the priced labour sheet, with waste applied to install only.

  • iFloor

A waste calculator built for flooring

Rooms by length and width, the flooring type and a pattern waste of 10, 15 or 20 percent turn into a box count, cutting both short orders and leftover boxes.

  • iFloor

    Old quotes never reprice

Each version of a sheet is stamped with a fingerprint of the rate card it used, so a rate changed next month never rewrites a price a customer already saw.

  • iFloor

    18quotes on one screen

Quotes ranked by what is going cold

The quotes list shows each quote on one line with its age first and floats the ones read but not answered to the top, so 18 fit on one screen.

How we work

From a free assessment to a system you own

The team behind Nametech has built websites and software since 2014, and Nametech Canada Ltd. was incorporated in 2025. Every build follows the same five steps, from a one-page website to a CRM.

Book a Free Assessment
  1. Free assessment

Thirty minutes on how work moves through your business today, your website and your tools, then a plain answer on what we would build first.

  2. Scope in writing

A written scope and estimate that says what is included and what is not. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  3. Weekly releases, tested

We build in small releases you can try as we go, and every release passes our automated tests before it reaches you.

  4. Launch

Your records moved in and checked, your team shown how it works, and the switch made on a day that suits you.

  5. Care

Fixes, updates and new features after launch, shipped as small releases with the same tests behind every one.

FAQ's

Frequently asked question

Can you build a quote calculator for our website?

Yes. A calculator on your site asks for what drives your price, such as rooms, square footage or a package, shows a range or a firm price, and sends the request into your CRM as a contact. We write the rules from your own price sheet, and say plainly where a site visit still has to set the final number.

Do you sell quoting software, or build it for us?

We build it for you. Your prices, tax rules, wording and templates live in a tool made around how you sell, in your brand, instead of a subscription shaped for every trade at once. If a packaged tool would do the job well enough, the free assessment says so, and we can set that up instead.

How are GST and PST handled?

They are worked out separately, the way BC charges them. In iFloor a customer's PST exemption is honoured and shipping is taxed for GST only, because it is a service. The rules live in the calculation itself, so nobody works tax out by hand and the invoice matches the quote.

Can clients accept a quote online?

Yes. In NameCRM a client accepts by typing their name, with the time and IP recorded, and the deposit invoice is raised on acceptance. In iFloor a customer accepts in their portal or signs with a finger on a phone, and a full snapshot of the quote is saved and locked.

What happens to our quotes when our prices change?

Nothing a customer already saw changes. Each version of an iFloor sheet is stamped with the rate card it used, so next month's rates never rewrite an old price. If an approved price has to go up, the sheet goes back to the customer to approve again before anyone is billed for it.

Can an accepted quote turn straight into an invoice?

Yes, and that is the point of building it in one place. One money calculation feeds the quote, the letter, the invoice and the PDF, and acceptance raises the deposit invoice and drafts the balance. Nothing is retyped, so the price a client agreed is the price on every document after it.

Can we tell whether a client has read the quote?

Yes. NameCRM shows which sections a client read and for how long, and a quote is only marked viewed when the client opens it, never when your staff preview it. iFloor tells the salesperson who owns the job the moment a customer opens their estimate, and adds a follow-up if they leave.

Will it work with QuickBooks Online?

Yes. In NameCRM every customer, estimate, invoice, payment and refund is mirrored to QuickBooks Online with the same numbers, so your bookkeeper works in QuickBooks without entering anything twice. The quote is the first link in that chain, which is why we build the quote and the books as one flow.
