Shopify developers for Surrey stores

Nametech Canada builds and customizes Shopify stores for Surrey retailers. Our Surrey Shopify proof is ElayaLuxe, a dealer in luxury watches and fine jewellery that has sold from its base in Surrey since 2020. We built its store on Shopify with every price hidden, because watch prices move with the market every day, and every piece leads the buyer to a specialist who quotes the live rate.

That store shows the kind of Shopify work we take on: a catalogue too large to sort by hand, buyers who research before they spend, and a sale that may end in a conversation instead of a checkout. We meet Surrey owners at their shop or office, somewhere close by, or online, and look at how they sell before we suggest anything.

A Surrey watch store where every price is a conversation

ElayaLuxe does not post prices. Each piece carries a Price on Request button next to Call for Pricing, and the request form asks for a name, phone, email, a preferred contact time, new or pre-owned, and a message. The store's job is to earn trust in a piece, then hand the buyer to a person.

Much of its business is not a straight sale, so selling, trading and sourcing each have their own page. The sell form asks for brand, reference, year, condition and whether box and papers come with the watch. The trade form adds the watch the client wants in exchange, and the sourcing form asks for a budget range and a timeline.

Jewellery made to order has its own brief. The custom request form takes the piece type, metal colour, karat from 10K to 22K, stone preference, a budget band and an uploaded picture of the idea, so the first reply can already talk about the real piece.

A catalogue of 1,058 products that sorts itself

The store holds 791 watches from nine brands and 267 pieces of jewellery. Audemars Piguet, with 298 watches, Rolex, with 276, and Patek Philippe, with 134, carry the most. Most watch brand pages list their model lines as tags, so a Rolex buyer goes straight to Submariner, Day-Date or GMT-Master II instead of scrolling the whole brand.

In September 2026 we loaded the jewellery range and tagged every piece as it came in. Bracelets, Chains, Earrings, Pendants, Rings, Necklaces, Bridal, Engagement Rings and Wedding Bands each gather their pieces by tag, so a new piece lands in the right collection without anyone sorting it by hand. The same pass added watches for Audemars Piguet, Panerai, Blancpain and Cartier.

Every watch page carries a specifications table, from model number, series and case size to calibre, bracelet and dial colour, so a collector can check the exact reference before asking for a price.

Pages for buyers who research before they spend

A bar across the top of every page lists the store's promises: certified authentic, private consultations, complimentary insured shipping and the phone number. Every form tells the visitor a specialist will reply within 24 hours, and anyone who would rather talk can call from the top bar or the footer.

The Diamond Education guide covers the four Cs, GIA and IGI certification, ring settings and lab-grown against natural stones, then links to starting a custom design or browsing bridal. The journal adds a guide to buying a pre-owned Rolex in Canada and a checklist for verifying a watch.

We also wrote the collections' search titles and descriptions, so the Rolex page is titled Rolex Watches: Certified Authentic. A buyer who searches for a brand lands on a page whose title already carries the store's promise.

Shopify work beyond Surrey

Holy Vibe is a jewellery store in Calgary that we built on Shopify with the Cadiant theme. Its charms are worn on a chain, so the store needed a way to pick charms and a chain separately and receive them put together. We built it from ordinary products: the charms collection holds 23 charms, including a Letters charm in all 26 letters, and the chains collection holds 8 necklaces and bracelets in curb, paper clip, snake and cable styles.

Because each charm and chain is its own product, each keeps its own price and stock count, and a Build Your Own page lays out 3 Easy Steps from the first charm to the order. On 29 September 2026 the store listed 141 products across 8 collections.

A Shopify catalogue can also feed the rest of a business. For a flooring store running on iFloor, the system we built for flooring retailers, the store's Shopify catalogue was imported so staff quote from the same products the store sells online, with cost and margin kept on each one.

How a Surrey Shopify project runs

Before anything is built, we sit down for a free 30-minute assessment in your Surrey shop, office or warehouse, or online. We look at your range, where your product data lives today and how your customers buy, then send a written scope and estimate that says what is included and what is not.

On a store that is already live, changes are made on a copy of your theme that you preview, and the theme you had is kept so a release can be rolled back. Nothing reaches your customers until you have seen it.

FAQ's

Surrey Shopify Development questions

Can a Surrey store sell on Shopify without showing prices?

Yes. ElayaLuxe, a Surrey watch and jewellery dealer, hides every price on its Shopify store. Each piece has a Price on Request button beside Call for Pricing, and the form asks for a preferred contact time, so a specialist can quote the live market rate. It suits anything priced to order or by the market.

Can our Shopify store handle trade-ins, sourcing and custom orders?

Yes, each with its own form. On ElayaLuxe the sell form asks for brand, reference, year, condition and box and papers, the trade form adds the watch wanted in exchange, the sourcing form asks for a budget and timeline, and the custom form takes metal, karat, stones and an uploaded picture.

Can you organize a large Shopify catalogue so it stays sorted?

Yes. ElayaLuxe holds 1,058 products, and its collections gather pieces by tag, so a new bracelet or ring lands in the right collection without anyone sorting it by hand. Watch brand pages list their model lines as tags too, so a Rolex buyer can go straight to Submariner or Day-Date.

Will you meet us at our shop in Surrey?

Yes, and we would rather see how you sell. We come to your shop, office or warehouse anywhere in Surrey, meet somewhere close to you, or talk online if that suits your day better. The free 30-minute assessment is where we look at your range and your store, and the written estimate follows it.

Do you build Shopify stores for businesses outside Surrey?

Yes. Holy Vibe, a jewellery store in Calgary, runs on a Shopify store we built with the Cadiant theme, where shoppers choose charms and a chain separately and receive them put together. We work with retailers across the Lower Mainland in person, and anywhere in Canada online.
