AI consulting and implementation in Surrey, BC
Nametech Canada provides AI consulting and implementation in Surrey, BC. We work out where AI pays off in a small or medium business, then build it into the tools that business already runs on: answering the phone, drafting replies in the owner's own voice, reading cards and documents into the records, and training the team to use AI safely. We are based at #115 - 14398 60 Avenue, and we meet clients online, at their place of business or somewhere close to them.
What sets the work apart is that we run our own business on it first. The AI receptionist in NameCRM, the client system our agency works in, answers our own Surrey phone line whenever Seemab cannot pick up. Every change to it has to pass graded practice calls before it reaches a real caller, and every call it gets wrong is read line by line and turned into a rule.
- graded practice calls taken by our receptionist
- 257
- caller situations it is tested against
- 46
- practice calls it failed, each one read line by line
- 148
- written rules learned from those failures
- 101

Where AI consulting starts for a Surrey business
It starts with the free AI Readiness Check. You answer a short set of questions on our website and see your score straight away, with no email asked for. Then we look at how your business really runs and give you the findings in writing: where AI would save time or win work, where it should not be used, and the one pilot worth doing first.
A pilot is one workflow, built for a fixed price and run on a slice of real work with a person checking the results. We measure what it did together before anything grows. After that, some owners keep us on as a monthly AI Advisor, to decide what to try next and what to switch off as the tools change.
Some Surrey examples of where a first pilot could sit: a trades crew in Newton or Cloverdale that misses calls while it is on a roof or under a sink, a clinic near City Centre that answers the same booking questions every morning, and a distributor in Campbell Heights that retypes orders from emails and screenshots. Each is work AI can take on, with written rules about what it may say and when it hands over to a person.
The receptionist that answers our own Surrey line
When Seemab cannot pick up within about 20 seconds, the receptionist answers, day or night. It opens by saying it is her AI assistant and that the call is recorded, reads the caller's history first, and books, moves or cancels a meeting in her real calendar while the caller is still on the line. For an in-person meeting it suggests a vetted cafe near the caller, and it texts a recap as the call ends.
Surrey is a city of many languages, so language is part of the test. The receptionist understands callers in French, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. It speaks French and Hindi, so a Punjabi or Urdu caller is answered in simple spoken Hindi, and it tells them so once. One of the practice callers it faces is a trucker who switches between Punjabi and English in the middle of a call.
It comes as part of NameCRM, because it needs the calendar, the client records and the tasks to do its job properly. NameCRM is opening to other businesses soon.
How we catch its mistakes before a caller does
An AI caller phones the line and plays a scripted situation, from an angry client chasing late website changes to a site hacked late at night. A judge scores each call out of 10 and cites the transcript line behind every finding. By September 26, 2026 it had taken 257 practice calls and failed 148 of them, because the bar is set high on purpose.
Each failure became a written rule, 101 so far, and most are now enforced in code rather than left to the model's memory. That is why it never quotes a price it was not given, never claims to have read an email it cannot see, and puts the 911 line first when a caller sounds like they are in an emergency. More than 470 automated checks run before any change goes live.
Drafting in your voice, with the numbers locked
NameCRM learned how Seemab writes from 638 of her real sent messages, and a new version of that voice goes live only when a person approves it. Drafts are built from the client's whole record, their emails, texts, notes, meetings and payments, and may not invent a meeting, a price or a date. When AI rewrites the wording of a letter, a digit lock puts back any clause whose numbers changed.
We bring the same care to a client's AI: the model writes, and code or a person checks the parts that matter, the prices, dates and promises, before anyone sees them.
Client data rules and training for Surrey teams
Before a team pastes client details into an AI tool, it needs to know which plans train on what they type. Our table of AI tools and client data answers that plan by plan, with each vendor's own page as the source, and our free AI use policy template, written for BC small businesses, turns the answer into rules your staff read and sign.
We also run hands-on workshops for a business's own team, in person across Metro Vancouver or online, built around your own work and the rules for client data. Seemab's public AI and social media workshop is open for registration, and the date goes to the people who registered before anyone else.
FAQ's
Surrey AI Solutions questions
Where do you meet Surrey clients for AI consulting?
We are based in Surrey, at #115 - 14398 60 Avenue, and we prefer to come to you: to your premises anywhere from Cloverdale to City Centre, to a quiet spot close by, or online if that is easier. The AI Readiness Check can even start before we meet, with a two-minute score on our website.
Can your AI receptionist handle callers who speak Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu?
Yes. It understands callers in French, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. It speaks French and Hindi, so a Punjabi or Urdu caller is answered in simple spoken Hindi, and it says so once on its first reply. We test language switching with practice calls, including a trucker who moves between Punjabi and English mid-call.
Does the receptionist tell callers it is an AI?
Yes, on every call. It opens by saying it is Seemab's AI assistant and that the call is recorded, and it says so again whenever a caller asks. When a practice caller asked whether it was talking to a real person, the call was graded 10 out of 10. Being upfront is built in, not a setting.
How is AI consulting priced for a Surrey small business?
The AI Readiness Check is free. A pilot is one workflow at a fixed price, agreed in writing before any work starts, and the AI Advisor is a monthly arrangement. Each project is priced by what it has to do and which systems it connects to, so you get a written estimate after the free assessment.
Will you tell us where AI should not be used in our business?
Yes. The written findings name the places AI should not touch and say why, next to the places it would help. Money, promises to a client and anything sensitive stay with a person. Client information only goes into a business plan signed in with a work account, and our AI use policy template writes that rule down for your team.
